WINE HARVEST  UPDATE

FREE GRAPES
    Greg Schorzman a local vineyard owner (Marsing) is offering Free Grapes this Harvest (Sept - Oct.) These are the varieties that will be available
Merlot - Cabernet - Semillion - Shiraz - Chardonnay - Riesling

               Hops - most are in stock in limited quantities but the suppliers
are letting us order more than just a few onces a week.

your recipe.   Need 1/4oz?  that is all you pay for. 
Ya, it's a great way to buy your hops especially with the ever rising prices !!

 GRAINS - DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL
Well it looks like the grain prices are going up !!!  What else is new ???   My suppliers are working hard to find the best prices on the grains we all use.  As of today the increases are very small  .08 - .10 /lb.   Although British Maris Otter has seemed to skyrocket !!!!    $90.00/55 # bag    Maybe it's time to check out alternatives on grains too...
